Abridged History
- Founded in 2001 (formally registered April 28, 2004) in the Suzhou High-Tech Zone, Jiangsu Province, China; today a subsidiary of Shanghai-listed Eastern Precision.
- Its engineering roots trace to a core team with outboard experience dating back to 1968, including engineers who previously worked with the Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC — the original maker of Johnson and Evinrude) on high-power outboard components in the late 1990s.
- Grew from small portables to larger EFI four-strokes (up to a 300 hp flagship) and added an electric outboard line co-developed with U.S. partner Elco Motor Yachts, exporting to over 100 countries.
