For High-Volume Parts Sellers

Wholesale & Parts Supplier Program

You already source, warehouse, and sell thousands of marine parts and motors. OutboardListings.com gives you a second storefront -- plus pushes your listings to eBay and Craigslist -- with zero per-sale fees on OL, AI-powered scanning, a real listing dashboard, and market intelligence that neither eBay nor Craigslist will ever offer you.

Retail vs. Dealer vs. Wholesale

Three tiers. Different tools and volume. Same platform. Here is where you fit.

Retail Seller
Retail Seller

Individual selling a few motors or parts from their garage, dock, or shed.

Volume: 1 -- 50 items
Tools: AI Scanner, single-item listing, voice-to-list.
Ideal for: Private sellers, hobbyists, boat owners upgrading.
Dealer
Dealer

Licensed marine dealer or repair shop with a storefront and regular inventory turnover.

Volume: 50 -- 500 items
Tools: Dealer dashboard, bulk upload, branded profile, lead capture.
Ideal for: Authorized dealers, service centers, marina shops.
Wholesale / Parts Supplier
Wholesale / Parts Supplier

High-volume parts business sourcing, warehousing, and reselling used or surplus marine parts and motors at scale.

Volume: 500 -- 50,000+ items
Tools: Batch scanner, bulk CSV/API upload, inventory sync, market intelligence, dedicated support.
Ideal for: Parts yards, liquidation buyers, salvage operations, large resellers.

How It Works for a Parts Supplier

Your operation, enhanced. Here is the full workflow from acquisition to sale.

Step 1

Source & Acquire

You acquire parts and motors through your existing channels -- liquidations, trade-ins, auctions, salvage yards, or direct purchase.

Nothing changes about your sourcing. You keep doing what you do.

Step 2

Receive & Inventory

Parts arrive at your shop or warehouse. You inspect, clean, test, and shelve them in your existing workflow.

This is where OL enters the picture.

Step 3

Scan With OL

Use the OL AI Scanner to photograph each part or motor. The system identifies make, model, compatibility, condition, and auto-fills the listing fields.

One photo. A few seconds. No manual data entry. The scanner cross-references 5,000+ engine models in our database.

Step 4

Choose Your Path: A or B

After scanning, you decide how you want to distribute. Option A: OL pushes your listings to eBay and Craigslist for you. Option B: You manage eBay and Craigslist yourself and use OL as a second storefront. Details below.

Either way, the scan data is the same. One scan, up to three storefronts. You pick what fits your operation.

Step 5

Buyers Find You

Your listings are live on OutboardListings.com. Buyers browse, search, and contact you directly. You handle the sale your way -- cash, wire, PayPal, whatever you use.

OL is your storefront, not your cash register. We connect you to buyers. You close the deal.

Step 6

Market Intelligence

OL tracks what buyers are searching for, what is moving on competing platforms, and where demand is spiking. You get insights on what to stock next.

Example: "Lower units for 2018--2022 Yamaha F150 are getting 3x search volume this month. A liquidation lot in Maine just posted 40 of them."

Two Ways to Work With OL

You choose what fits your operation. Use one or both.

A

OL-First: We Push to eBay for You

Scan once. We handle everything.

You scan the part on OL. That scan creates the listing data -- make, model, compatibility, condition, photos.

OL publishes the listing on OutboardListings.com AND pushes it to your eBay store via eBay's Inventory API AND posts it to Craigslist via the Craigslist Bulk Posting API. One scan, three storefronts.

When it sells on eBay, the eBay order notification fires back to OL -- we auto-remove the listing from OL. No double-selling.

When it sells through OL (buyer contacts you directly), you mark it sold on OL and we end the eBay listing and pull the Craigslist post automatically.

Craigslist listings are geo-targeted to your market area. Local buyers who search Craigslist for outboard parts find your listings -- no Craigslist account management on your end.

Best for:

Suppliers who want maximum reach with minimum effort. You never log into eBay or Craigslist again. OL becomes your control center for all three channels.

Requires:

One-time eBay account authorization via eBay's official API. You retain full ownership and can revoke access at any time. Craigslist posting is handled entirely by OL -- no Craigslist account needed on your end.

B

Standalone: OL as a Second Storefront

You keep running eBay your way.

You scan and list on OL. You continue listing on eBay and Craigslist through your own process -- eBay Seller Hub, Craigslist manual posts, however you do it today.

OL is an additional channel. More eyeballs, more inquiries, zero per-sale fees. Your eBay and Craigslist operations stay untouched.

When something sells (on any platform), you pull the listing on the others manually. Simple.

You still get OL's AI scanning, market intelligence, buyer demand data, and sourcing alerts -- just without the eBay/Craigslist sync.

Best for:

Suppliers who have an established eBay and/or Craigslist workflow and prefer to keep full control of their accounts. No authorization needed. No integration required.

Requires:

Nothing extra. Sign up for OL wholesale membership, start scanning, and list. That is it.

You Can Use Both

Start with Option B to test the waters. Move to Option A when you are ready to consolidate. Or use A for your high-volume categories and B for everything else. Either way, you can reach buyers on OL, eBay, and Craigslist from one scan. It is your operation -- we flex to fit it.

Co-Branding: Grow Your Reach (and Ours)

Optional co-branded listings give both of us more visibility -- and save you money.

How It Works

With your permission, your listings include a co-branded tagline. The listing is still yours -- your business name, your inventory, your sale. OL gets a small brand mention that builds our reach across the marine parts market.

"Your Business Name -- Listed by OutboardListings.com"

On Individual Listings

Each listing description includes the co-branded tagline. Buyers see a professional, platform-backed listing. Works on both OL and eBay listings.

On eBay Store Profile

If we post to your eBay store (Option A), the store "About" section and listing templates can reference the OL partnership for added credibility.

Co-Branding Discount

Agree to co-branded listings and receive a discount on scanning and listing fees. The more reach we build together, the less it costs you. This applies to all service tiers -- OL-only, OL + eBay, or Full Listing Service. No co-branding required if you prefer clean listings with just your name.

Wholesale Pricing

Transparent service pricing. eBay platform fees are separate and paid directly to eBay.

New To Online Listings? We Can Help

Why Add OL When You Already Have eBay and Craigslist?

eBay takes 13--16% of every sale. OL does not.

On a $3,000 lower unit, that is $400+ gone. On OL, you pay a flat membership. Whether you use Option A or B, there are zero per-sale fees on OL.

eBay buyers are general consumers. OL buyers are marine-specific.

Every person on OutboardListings.com is looking for marine parts or motors. No tire-kickers browsing from the electronics section. Higher intent, more serious inquiries.

Craigslist is free but manual. OL automates it.

Posting 5,000 parts on Craigslist one at a time is a full-time job. With Option A, OL pushes to Craigslist via their Bulk Posting API -- geo-targeted to your market, auto-removed when items sell. You never open Craigslist.

eBay does not help you source inventory. Neither does Craigslist.

OL's market intelligence can alert you to liquidation lots, closing shops, and surplus inventory before your competitors find it. Neither eBay nor Craigslist offer anything like this.

eBay listings are disposable. OL listings are an asset.

Your OL storefront builds SEO value over time. Buyers find you through Google, not just a marketplace search bar. Craigslist posts expire and vanish -- OL listings persist.

You are not leaving eBay or Craigslist.

Option A: OL posts your eBay and Craigslist listings for you -- one scan, three channels, synced removals. Option B: You keep eBay and Craigslist exactly as-is and add OL on top. Either way, all three stay in the picture.

Ready to List Smarter?

Whether you have 500 parts or 50,000 -- Option A, Option B, or both -- we built this for you. One scan. Three storefronts: OL, eBay, and Craigslist. Reach out to discuss wholesale membership, scanning services, or multi-channel distribution.
