Fort Lauderdale Unveils 2026 Nightlife Strategy: New Curated Guide Bridges High-Powered Corporate Networking with Uninhibited After-Hours Entertainment
Plus the FLIBS 2026 Seas, Tides & Weather Outlook
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — October 25, 2026
JACKSONVILLE, FL — Global marine industry leaders and out-of-town visitors are arriving in South Florida for the 67th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) — #FLIBS #FLIBS2026.
The boat show runs Wednesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 1, 2026.
FLIBS is the headline event of the 2026 boat shows calendar and the largest of the Florida boat shows.
OutboardLISTINGS.com℠ has published a new after-hours guide that connects the show’s daytime footprint with the city’s best post-show networking, dining and nightlife.
The guide also carries the show-week marine and land forecast: a Gale Warning offshore, a rough Intracoastal and King Tide coastal flooding for the first half of the show.

Four After-Hours Tracks
With more than 100,000 attendees expected, the guide sorts 15 venues by the kind of night a visitor wants.
- The Business Power Track: YOLO on Las Olas, Sparrow Rooftop atop The Dalmar, and the waterfront ice-breaker American Social.
- The Uninhibited & Adult Freedom Track: the beachside party at Rock Bar, the clothing-optional men’s resort Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa in Wilton Manors, and the co-ed, clothing-optional Rooftop Resort in Hollywood Beach.
- The Curated Mixology Track (In Bed by Midnight): El Camino, Rooftop @1WLO, The Wilder and No Man’s Land.
- The After-Hours Endurance Track (Up All Night): Rhythm & Vine, The Wharf Fort Lauderdale, D’s Sports Bar, the private adult lounge 321 Slammer, and DAER Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock.
A professional can go from a yacht deal on the Bahia Mar docks to a rooftop mixer, or to a clothing-optional pool deck, in the same evening.
The online guide lists every venue by category and vibe, with an address and a map link for each stop.
It also lists the show hours, ticket prices and the full weather, seas and tide data.

Show-Week Weather, Seas & Tides
Marine and land conditions will be heavily influenced by a persistent Northeast wind pattern and astronomical King Tides.
A Gale Warning and Hazardous Marine Conditions advisory are active for the local waters due to an intense pressure gradient.
Boaters traveling to the show or participating in sea trials will encounter very rough water.
| Date Range | Intracoastal Waterway | Offshore (Out to 20 NM) | Predominant Winds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-Show (Oct 25 – Oct 27) | Very rough in exposed areas. High risk of chop. | 10 to 12 feet, occasionally spiking to 15 feet. | NE 20–25 kt with gusts up to 30–35 kt. |
| Opening Days (Oct 28 – Oct 29) | Rough to very rough. Water taxi transit will be bumpy. | 7 to 10 feet, occasionally up to 13 feet, slowly subsiding Thursday. | NE 20–25 kt down to 15–20 kt by Thursday night. |
| Weekend Wrap (Oct 30 – Nov 1) | Choppy in exposed areas. Conditions noticeably improve. | 4 to 7 feet, occasionally up to 9 feet. | NE 15–20 kt with gusts to 25 kt. |
A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect.
King Tides and onshore winds will push extra water into the Intracoastal Waterway, causing minor flooding along low-lying docks, seawalls and coastal roadways.
High tides will crest around 3.0 to 3.4 feet during the show (Bahia Mar Yacht Club station).
| Date | AM High Tide | PM High Tide | AM Low Tide | PM Low Tide |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wed, Oct 28 | 9:14 AM | 9:38 PM | 3:02 AM | 3:31 PM |
| Thu, Oct 29 | 9:59 AM | 10:27 PM | 3:49 AM | 4:20 PM |
| Fri, Oct 30 | 10:48 AM | 11:21 PM | 4:40 AM | 5:14 PM |
| Sat, Oct 31 | 11:42 AM | — | 5:37 AM | 6:13 PM |
| Sun, Nov 1 | 12:20 AM | 12:41 PM | 6:40 AM | 7:17 PM |
On land it will be warm, humid and notably breezy, with highs around 81°F – 83°F and nighttime lows around 74°F – 78°F.
By show week, rain chances drop to a steady 15% – 25% chance of fast-moving, passing light showers off the ocean.
The 15–25 mph winds will make the miles of outdoor docks feel less intensely hot than a typical mid-summer Florida day.
Attendees should wear non-slip, waterproof deck shoes and use the Broward County Convention Center hub for water taxis and shuttles, as King Tides can slow traffic on the Las Olas and SE 17th Street bridges.
Exhibitors should weigh down light materials, with shoreline gusts near 25 to 30 mph through Friday.
