Nevada privacy law
As of February 2026, Nevada has not enacted a comprehensive consumer data-privacy law of the kind found in states such as California, Colorado or Florida. That does not mean you have no protection — other state and federal rules can still apply, and Nevada may pass a law later.

Our marine business directory is built from publicly available commercial information so boaters in Nevada can find a mechanic, dealer, marina or broker near them.

- Claiming is free and puts you in control of what shows.
- One-person operations can keep their street address off the public page permanently.
- We preserve accurate commercial listings rather than deleting them, so the directory stays useful — but genuine privacy concerns get a real review.
How to request an edit or merge

Can I get my Nevada business listing removed from OutboardListings.com?
Public commercial listings are generally preserved so the directory stays complete and accurate. We correct and merge listings on request, and we review genuine privacy concerns — such as a one-person business operating from a private home, or a business that has closed — case by case.
Does Nevada law require you to delete a business listing?
As of February 2026, Nevada has not enacted a comprehensive consumer data-privacy law that would create a general right to have public business information deleted. Other rules may still apply to your situation.
How do I fix wrong information about my business?
Claim the listing and edit it yourself, or use the contact form and choose “Edit a Listing or Remove Duplicates.” Every request is reviewed by a person.
Will my street address be published?
Not on an unclaimed listing — those show city and state only. After you claim your listing you choose, and a one-person operation can keep its street address off the public page permanently.
