About American Outboard Federation
The American Outboard Federation (AOF) is a non-profit outboard boat racing organization founded January 15, 1971 in Oklahoma, built around member clubs across the central United States. AOF exists to promote outboard motor boat racing and its safety, keep club costs low, and help clubs stage races that otherwise could not run. Its published safety material, rulebook and race sanction paperwork are all free to download.
Each AOF race above has its own free racer post board on OutboardListings — a public place to post RV and trailer parking, race-week housing, crew and ride openings, mechanics and riggers, hauling and transport, props and spare parts, and sponsorship. No fee, no membership.
