The Offer

OXE Marine (formerly Cimco Marine) is the Swedish pioneer of the modern diesel outboard. Its engines marinize automotive diesel blocks and use a patented belt-drive transmission to handle high torque, giving big fuel-efficiency and range advantages over gasoline. The current lineup includes the OXE150, OXE225, OXE250 and OXE300, plus the OXE HYBRID 450 diesel-electric outboard. OXE targets maritime security, military, commercial and superyacht-tender operators who value single-fuel logistics, range and durability.

Abridged History

  • Incorporated in 2012 as Cimco Marine, Helsingborg, Sweden; renamed OXE Marine AB in February 2020. “OXE” is Swedish for “ox.”
  • Pioneered diesel outboards by marinizing a GM 2.0L turbo-diesel block mounted horizontally, driving a patented belt-drive gearbox for high torque and a slim lower unit.
  • Expanded the range to OXE150/225/250/300 and the OXE HYBRID 450 diesel-electric, selling direct to dealers, government agencies and OEM networks; listed on Nasdaq Stockholm under OXE.
