Wednesday on the waterfront: the first race day
After Tuesday’s practice and preparation, Wednesday, November 4 brought the first race day of the 2026 Key West World Championship: the Truman Waterfront Cup.
This second installment of our Key West coverage moves from the test-day pit walk to racing, waterfront spectators, team celebrations, and a closer look at Good Boy Vodka’s presence around the event.
The lead video above opens our coverage with live narration, followed below by the remaining videos in order.
Our original photographs capture both sides of race day—the boats and crews on the water, and the people enjoying the view from shore.
For the lead-in to Wednesday, revisit Tuesday Practice Only & Prep!.

Wednesday results: the opening round, not the final championship
These results are provisional.
The summary below draws on Powerboat News’s Wednesday report, which attributes its figures to Race World Offshore’s published result sheets.
Wednesday’s finishing positions should not be confused with the final Key West championship outcome or with the separate running UIM series standings.
| Class | Winning team | Listed time |
|---|---|---|
| Class 1 | Monster Energy / M CON | 21:30.78 |
| Class 2 | Monster Energy / HURT | 19:05.10 |
| Super Cat | CR Racing | 19:58.32 |
| Super Stock | STR / Allied | 11:20.68 |
| Modified Vee | Speed Marine | 19:08.33 |
| Super Vee | Wazzup Motorsports | 19:49.65 |
| Cat 300 | Wicked / Lakeside Motorsports | 17:22.08 |
| Vee Limited | Team Legend 504 | 19:05.36 |
In Class 1, Monster Energy / M CON finished 12.02 seconds ahead of Marine Technology / GC Racing.
Class 2 also went to a Monster Energy entry: HURT led Lake Wylie Racing by 16.70 seconds.
Good Boy Vodka’s No. 25 was listed sixth in Class 2 at 20:59.99, earning 285 Key West points.
That Key West score is distinct from the Wednesday UIM points and the season-long UIM total.
Super Stock’s listed winner, STR / Allied, finished 5.36 seconds ahead of Raymarine.
NUFF SAID’s quicker raw time did not translate into the win: the report records a one-lap buoy penalty and a 15th-place classification.
Powerboat News also flags unusual elapsed times and ordering in the Super Cat sheet, so the published classification—not a fresh ranking by stopwatch time—is the basis of this recap.
Among the bracket winners, the report lists OC Racing in Bracket 200, Team Woody Racing in 300, Saris Racing Engines in 400, Rum Runners in 500, Moderation in 600, and Team Progression REDRUM in 700.
For the complete field, penalties, non-finishers, and subsequent corrections, follow the linked results report and the organizer’s updates.

Good Boy Vodka: a race-week spotlight
Good Boy’s boats, display trailer, and bright product graphics make the brand an easy one to spot around this year’s waterfront scene.
The supplied race-week banner identifies Good Boy Vodka as the event’s official vodka and RTD sponsor for November 1–8, 2026.
That is the brand’s relationship to the event—not a sponsorship or partnership with OutboardLISTINGS.com℠.

There is also a charitable message behind the display: the supplied Good Boy Foundation material describes support for veterans, lifelong care for retired military working dogs, and adoption efforts for shelter pets.
Its “Pouring for Purpose” message also names women’s causes, including breast-cancer research, awareness, and advocacy.
These are the foundation’s stated priorities; this editorial spotlight is not an independent audit of its programs.

Suggested Vodka Good Boy’s Next Pro Girl
Our suggested new face for a Good Boy feature: the woman in the spotted dress, photographed beside the brand’s race-week trailer.
Three stills get the filmstrip treatment here, keeping the original photographs intact while letting each pose tell its part of the waterfront story.
This is an editorial suggestion by OutboardLISTINGS.com℠, not an announcement of a Good Boy appointment, endorsement, or modeling agreement.

Along the seawall and into the wet pits
The shore-side photographs put the race day in context: boats close to the seawall, spectators watching across open water, and a checkered flag raised aboard No. 05.
These are views from our visit, not an attempt to identify finishing positions from a photograph.

Podium moments and the people around race week
At the waterfront podium, team uniforms and palm-frond decorations provide a different backdrop from the race course.
The collection also includes the smaller moments between races: a scooter stop, wet-pit selfies, and familiar faces beside the palms.
