Only in Key West — Worlds 2026, Part 3

KEY WEST, FLORIDA • OFFSHORE WORLDS 2026 • PART THREE

Dogs. Poolside. Racing. Only in Key West.

50 WATERMARKED PHOTOS4 VIDEOS + 2 SHORTS

The boats bring us to Key West—the people and the after-hours stops fill out the story.

This third dispatch brings together Friday-morning dog duty, Dante’s poolside, offshore racing, a catch-up with my buddy Ron, and our Thursday-night outing.

We’re opening with the dogs and saving the nightlife for the finale: a race-week scrapbook, not a claim that every stop happened on the same day.

First things first: feed the dogs

Before the pool, before the boats, before anything else—the dogs.

Friday morning starts with breakfast and a pair of four-legged travel companions keeping an eye on the preparations.

Dante’s poolside: a different kind of waterfront break

A poolside stop belongs in the Key West story, too.

Here’s the scene at Dante’s before we turn back to the race boats.

The race-week photos include time together around the displays, a stop beside No. 524, and a seat between outings.

Thursday night: Key West after dark

Race-week friends, live music, and the streets after sunset.

Our Thursday-night outing takes the story from the illuminated docks to Sloppy Joe’s, Willie T’s, and the people and displays along the way.

The evening finale: vibrator races

Yes, vibrator races.

The final Short wraps up the nightlife section with the kind of spectacle that needs just one caption:
