Gary Milicevic Wins FLW’s Gator D. Final on Lake “O”

T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League – Fun For All Who Attended!

Fishing competitions are often a lot of fun, aren’t they?
There’s a very relaxed and companionable attitude towards fishing, and it’s not lost when people are competing.
There are occasional instances when anyone gets into a dispute over fishing and it’s also often easily resolved.

What interests us, however, is when we see today’s outboards in fishing. As enthusiasts of a lot of different outboard engines, we’re always pleased when they’re used.

So, What Happened?

The event itself took place over the 22nd and 23rd of September and had at least 50 people come out and try their hand at fishing up a winning beast.
Of course, all who attended had a license to fish in Florida, which is where the event took place, and the maximum catch limit was 5 with a size limit on fish being 12”.

The competition itself was one for the books, with some excellent catches performed from all entrants, and the winner rightly deserved their prize.
Gary Milicevic took first place, catching a bass which earned him the award of $8,374. The winners from this event went onto to compete in a game which saw them fight for a gorgeous 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

The Competition Itself

The event was organized by the FLW, which is the largest organization in the world, offering people the chance to compete at all levels of fishing to demonstrate their skills.

Of course, for a lot of fishermen, the chance to get new gear or especially a new Okeechobee outboard for their setup is often too good to pass up. “

Weighing in on the kinds of outboards which are available, we’re quite pleased with the selection. 200-horsepower is nothing to sneeze at, especially when you’re trying to get from one place to the next without disturbing the wildlife or the natural environment.

Overall, the entire event was really one to take notice of, and we followed it with keen interest!

Anything that brings people together and gets them out on the water is a good idea to us.

Fishing isn’t like a lot of other sports – there’s less in the way of massive action and more in the form of a quiet display of skill.

Watching people fish can be incredibly soothing, and the outboard engines which people have to get to the right place are often some of the best we’ve ever seen.

Couple that with the very enticing 200-horsepower which was on offer to the winner of the event after that, and you get something which was always going to be appealing.

We hope that the events going on in the future have as much success as this, and look forward to following more Okeechobee fishing in the future. Writing team.
